I have a series. How should I submit it?

If you have a series, the preferred method is to submit each episode as a separate video. This allows viewers to easily navigate and watch your series episode by episode.

For series, the initial submission is only up to 3 episodes first. Then, once that's approved, you can upload all episodes together with the other assets. You can also upload the episodes gradually.

To submit a series on Reveel, you will go through a process that involves providing information about the overall series and then details for each individual episode. Here's a breakdown based on the dashboard elements:

1. Initial Series Information:

  • Choose Type of film: Select "Series".
  • Title of the series: Enter the main title of your series.
  • Short description: Provide a brief overview of what the series is about. This will appear in collections and when users hover over the thumbnail.
  • Full Description: Give a complete description of the series. This will be displayed on the main series page to explain what viewers can expect.
  • Primary Genres & Secondary Genres: Select the most relevant genres for your series.
  • Tags: Add descriptive keywords to help classify your series for collections and campaigns.
  • Production Year (YYYY): Enter the year the series was produced.
  • Rating: Select the appropriate content rating for the series.
  • Rating Remarks: Add any specific notes about the rating if needed.
  • Production Company & Studio: Enter the names of the production company and studio involved.
  • Copyright: Provide the copyright information (e.g., "2025 Reveel Entertainment").
  • IMDB Film URL: If your series has an IMDb page, you can include the link.
  • Countries & Filming Locations & Cities: Specify the countries where the series was filmed and the filming locations/cities.
  • Upload Trailer: Upload a trailer for the entire series (.mp4, 4K or smaller, H.264, 20-60 fps).
  • Upload Thumbnails: Upload the main thumbnail image for the series (1920x1080px with the series title graphic, no other text).
  • Upload Thumbnails Without Text: Upload other HD stills without text for use in specific app screens.
  • Geo Restrictions: If there are any countries you need to restrict streaming in, add those details.

2. Episode Specific Information (After Submitting Series Details):

Once you've entered the overall series information, you'll be able to add individual episodes by clicking an "Add Episode" button. For each episode, you will typically provide:

  • Episode Title
  • Season Number
  • Full Description (for this specific episode)
  • Short Description (for this specific episode)
  • Production Year (YYYY) (for this episode, if different)
  • Rating & Rating Remarks (if different from the series overall)
  • Production Company & Studio & Copyright & IMDB Film URL & Countries & Filming Locations & Cities (you can often copy these from the parent series if they are the same)
  • Audio Language
  • Upload Episode: Upload the video file for this specific episode (.mp4, 4K or smaller, H.264, 20-60 fps).
  • Upload Thumbnails: You can upload a specific thumbnail for this episode (1920x1080px with episode title graphic).
  • Upload SRT File: Upload the subtitle file for this episode (English required, others optional).
  • Upload BTS and Stills: Optional behind-the-scenes videos and images for this episode.
  • Crew & Cast: You can add crew and cast details, specifying which episodes they appear in.

So, the process involves first setting up the general information for the entire series, and then adding details and the video file for each individual episode.
